hey, glad to hear you got the grains & they're doing alright! Hhhhm, not multiplying? At all??? It takes a bit of time to get them going, but they should be growing by now. And it's at room temp? After the 24 hour period, is your glass of kefir thicker, sourer, etc? Does it separate at all, the milk, & look kind of watery until you stir it? If so, they're viable & culturing. They have to sit in milk, in order to grow- they need the nutrients to grow. So, I would try this- keep culturing your glass daily, & keep using those same grains- strain, stick 'em back in the jar, let it sit. Take about half those grains & put them in another jar of milk, let that sit for 2-3 days. See what happens, is it really thick? The grains should start to grow. It's sort of a slow process, but once they really wake up, they grow pretty quickly. Plus I can always send more- as it is, I still have more than I can use!
