I was reluctant on meds, now I know I need them and feel better with them

I know Quincy will be happy to read this, since I was such a stickler for meds. I went four years without them and got worse. Yesterday I was late on taking them in the morning cuz I was so sick from the day before (my own cooking LOL) , so I was down and out and feeling like crap. When I was able to eat and took my meds, I started singing and said to myself, wow I'm not in pain right now and I know the meds are working. They make a difference.  Please don't be like me , stubborn, I only hurt myself.

thank I'm still looking into the fecal transplantation, it's a option for me, I won't be closed minded to it at all. Now, the human whip worm, no thanks, LOL both seem gross right?

I don't think anything is gross. I would try ANYTHING before having my body cut up. Not saying surgery is the worst thing, most people who have it end up extremely happy they did so and live MUCH better than when they had UC but it is a huge decision and a long recovery. I would try worms or fecal transplant. Fecal transplant will only help if you have a bacterial problem. I have heard that worms aren't as helpful for UC as they are for Chrons disease.

I am happy to har you're feeling better. I have been doing pretty poorly lately but I hate to complain.
