I'm dong better 3 weeks on asacol/Rowasa seeing improvement

I'm doing better, I'm hardly seeing any blood , so I'm feeling relieved that the medication is working. This combo 5 years ago healed my ulcers, but I wasn't in remission, it only took 6 weeks. What I mean is,  after 6 weeks of meds (5 years ago) I went back in to my doc who looked with a flex scope and said the ulcers were gone, he was amazed and said I could get off meds. WRONG PEOPLE DON'T JUST QUIT, boy I paid for that one! The ulcers might have appeared gone but the inflammation was probably still there. I was pooping my pants all the time and the urgency never left and the stool were not formed. Weird how the ulcers can be gone but your symptoms remain, how is that?

I'm doing the combo of applesauce, probiotic and metamucil too. I'm taking VSL#3 during the day, Klaire labs in the afternoon and evening Primal Defense. All different types of probiotics.

I'm just so thankful the meds are working and my hair is not falling out, I was having that trouble before. I added Vitamin D to my regimen.

I've got a feeling, everything is going to be alright.

See I didn't know that you could have inflammation without ulcers, my GI just told me that. I still have all you described too, urgency, pain and stools are not formed at all!
