Have you had a scope lately? Sounds like your U.C. problems are lower down on the left side if you are having normally formed poop. Have you ever tried steroid (hydrocortisone) enemas? For me, when the rowasa stopped being effective, the hydrocortisone enemas really had a big impact. If your inflammation is limited to the rectum and lower sigmoid, cortifoam can help too, and is really easy to retain. If you haven't had a colonoscopy lately, it might not be a bad idea to see what is going on and where the inflammation is. The rectum can be an amazingly productive mucous machine, and if the inflammation is only there, then rectal steroids would be something to look at.
Have you ever tried any supplements like probiotics, aloe, etc?
