I didn't see that match but am a tennis player who follows it on TV. Bathroom breaks have been abused by players unfortunately (mainly women-men use injury excuses) to break the rhythm of a game, to get coaching advice or even to annoy the other player. I even had it done to me by other players who were losing, took a loooong bathroom break and came back to win.
Tennis is one game where fitness, and that means overall health, counts towards winning. It may not be fair to UC people or people with flu symptoms or similar but thats life on the tennis court. There are rules about when you can take a bathroom break and how many times so it is allowed just not "immediately".
