Anyone have some pizzia in their diet? What you put on it?

Pizza does not bother me but I think many should take note of it in their food diary when they eat it. Pizza dough is high in gluten and may trigger a flare for those who are gluten intolerant.

Pizza doesn't give me issues. I eat it plain when I'm flaring and when I'm not..there's no end to the toppings I put on but I prefer any kind of veggie! <3

I just ate some meat lover's pizza last night! My favorite though would be a pizza with the white sauce, provolone cheese, bacon, mushrooms, onions and jalapenos - YUM!

I will sometimes eat spinach pizza, which I buy at Trader Joe's. It doesn't have any tomato sauce or cheese on it, only spinach.

It's called spicy spinach pizza, but it doesn't taste spicy to me.

The only thing on pizza that I avoid is heavy sauce and green peppers. But other then those two things, anything goes! :) Pizza normally doesn't bother me unless it's from Pizza Hut; seems their pizza is too greasy for me and it bothers both my Uc and acid reflux.

chris can eat pizza once in a while, but if he eats it more than once in a few days he has problems.

The grease on it bothers me sometimes, but otherwise, I can almost anything as long as I don't eat it a number of meals in a row! (Just as Chris's mom says about him and the pizza.) :-)

Pizza doesn't bother me....I wouldn't choose a meat lovers or one that's got tons of greasy stuff on it. Although, if it was the only thing available, I'd eat it and take extra fibre supps and a digestive enzyme afterward.

To my surprise pizza didn't seem to bother me, I might avoid one that is heavy on the sauce though. Constipation from cheese is probably one thing I myself have to watch out for.

I eat pizza - maybe 2 small slices - without anything greasy on it.  I like 1/2 the cheese (order it that way) and mushrooms.  Also, spinach is good!  I usually make our own and buy the thin crusts in the market to use.

I concur about Pizza Hut ... they changed their sauce (at least our location did) and even my hubby with no gut issues had a hard time with reflux, indigestion, etc. We order Domino's as we always seem to find coupons for them. Oh, and I always get a paper towel and pat down my pizza before I eat it. It is amazing how much grease is taken away with that method. I end totally soaking a paper towel! Bye bye a number of grams of fat ...

Some of Pizza Hut's ingredients contain MSG. Many of their breads, their sweet sauce, deserts, and drinks contain HFCS.

By accident, I had a milk shake (not from Pizza Hut) last night. I really suffered for it. I forgot, most ice cream contains HFCS.

I am hoping someday they will cut down on the sugar - any kind in foods along with the salt that is not needed (so much anyway) in fast foods and restaurants!!  AND - right now I am glad I am not sensitive to any of them - I would miss my McD's milkshakes.  Of course, maybe I wouldn't be obese - hee hee!

My problems are fatty food and spices!
