Interesting. I can see how it is very perplexing. Things are the same way for me, not terrible not not stable either.
Here is some info on CMV & H pylori:
http://www.cdc.gov/cmv/index.htmlhttps://health.google.com/health/ref/Helicobacter+pyloriYou could try some other rectal meds but if your issue isn't in the rectum (as shown in your flex sig), most, probably wouldn't be too helpful. Hopefully the colonoscopy sheds some light on the best method of treatment. If I were going frequently but it wasn't urgent and it wasn't D, I'd probably be okay with that as long as I didn't feel like things were progressing badly. It's better to go more and take less medication in my opinion. My problem is that if I don't take meds, I get incredibly sick, blood, D, urgency, frequency... I had the same problems you have with 6mp and I was able to add another drug called allupurinol and It's dramatically decreased the impact on my liver and increased the effectiveness of the drug. You could ask your GI about
this combination. Another thing may be to try a different 5ASA. I've heard Pentasa is for treating higher inflammation, colazal and asacol are better for treating the large intestine and left side.
