Anyone else suffer with lower back pain while flaring?

I have Sacroiilitis (inflammation in the joint that connects the hips to the spine) and it tends to act up more when I flare. You might have inflammation in that area and instead of using heat, have you ever tried using ice instead? If there is inflammation in that area then ice might work better.

I do also. It feels like some kind of pressure forcing from the inside to out. Usually followed by a nasty BM.
