Life insurance rates

I'm a 28 year old nonsmoker with no other health problems besides UC, which is generally under control lately.

I recently got quoted $150 per month, guaranteed for 30 years, for a $750k life insurance policy. Is this outrageously high? What kind of rates do other people with UC get?

That does seem high. But, insurance companies definitely consider this disease serious, sadly.

Before I was diagnosed I got a $250K 30 year term life and am only paying $36 quaterly! This is less than my husbands!

There are several kinds of life insurance. Term insurance is the least expensive, whole life is more expensive.
We don't have either kind since we have no dependents.
