I had ''colonoscopy'' they managed to get through about 70cm, massive contact bleeding when they touched walls of colon colonoscpical device
no signs of vascular drawings
Pseudo polyps 4,7,8 mm(10-12)
hyperemmic surface
Does this look like UC for you? what are odds that this is NOT OC?

I am not sure how those results would be interpreted. I don't think polyps are usually present but I did have one when I had my first sigmoidoscopy. I think it would say something about ulceration or inflammation if it were UC. After looking, my GI told me right away that I had proctitis . Did they speak with you after the procedure? Did the doctor mention inflammation? Did they take a lot of biopsies? I hope you're feeling well and that you find some answers soon.

Hi...was the doc not able to get through your entire colon?

pseudopolyps do happen in UC when inflammation is present...hopefully, they were biopsied.

If vascular pattern wasn't seen, that would be because of inflammation.

Hyperemic surface means the area is red, inflamed, and obviously friable since it bled upon contact.

You don't mention if the entire area of the 70cm is continuously inflamed or in patches, etc.

Yes, it sounds like UC, but it could also be CD, microscopic colitis of either pseudomembranous or collagenous.

I do hope you had lots of biopsies done.

Did the doc not get through your entire colon? if not..was it because of the amount of inflammation..etc.

Did the doc put you on any meds?
