When did you figure out something was wrong?

I think back to if my stupid PCP had sent me to a GI early on and I'd been diagnosed, I wouldn't have wound up in the hospital twice. I might have been put on pred, like I was later, and I wouldn't have experienced so much suffering. That being said, and this is really werid to say, I'm glad I had a major flare because now I know firsthand what can happen. Otherwise I might slack off on meds or just not be vigilant.
