So, I had my colonoscopy the other day and these are the preliminary results before I get the biospy results Feb 8th:
Pseudopolyps in the sigmoid, descending and transverse colon (biopsy)
An isolated raised area was seen in the mid-transverse colon (biopsy)
Atrophic changes without erythema or ulcerations in the cecum, ascending, transverse, descending and sigmoid colon compatible with inactive chronic ulcerative colitis (biopsy)
Erythema and ulceration in the distal rectum compatible with ulcerative colitis (biopsy)
Diverticulum in the sigmoid colon
I think I remember the doctor telling me we probably are going to change medications. I am so sick of taking pills...I am now considering surgery while I feel well enough and young enough to do so....the concerning item is the raised area in the mid-transverse colon. I have scopes once a year now and have never seen anything like this on any report. Any ideas?
