Some people think fecal transplantation is obscenely ridiculous. But it works for many.
I don't see the logic with 30 bananas a day, not unless the person is potassium deficient and then only for a little while. I can't see it as being a long-term diet. Too much of anything is not a good thing. However, there is nothing wrong with trying it out for a few days if one is in a serious flare and nothing else is working. Who knows, it might trigger remission in those who are potassium deficient. The original poster sure does seem to feel that it got him/her into remission.
I think where the topic went wrong is when people started making fun of the suggestion and the original poster started acting like it would cure those who were criticizing him/her. It doesn't take long to find out from reading everyone's posts that what works for one, does not work for all. There is no one treatment for everyone.
We have posts about
smoking, and that's definitely not healthy. Smoking definitely harms.
