Worrisome red patch on my scope.

I'm freaking out and I know the answer to my freak out is NOT to freak out until the pathology comes back but, I saw the pictures from my scope on Friday and for the most part my colon looked lovely! But, there was a red patch... and when I asked the doctor "Hey, what's that red patch?" He said "we will talk about that next week." Which means to me he's waiting for pathology. I'm wiggin'. QQ

I had some red patches on my colonoscopy last week and the doctor said it could be inflammation (have to wait for the biopsies) or sometimes the prep can cause similar looking redness he said.

I've had red patches, too. For me often the enemas take care of the inflammation, but then there will still be an inflamed area just out of reach of the enema - the doc has talked about seeing the "high tide mark" showing the limit of the enema...... so, all kinds of weird things can be seen!

Hang in there! Waiting for that "next week" thing is always nerve-wracking.
