Anyone on immune suppressants get recurring yeast infections?

I have a yeast infection all the time. I go on diflucan and it goes away. I stop the diflucan it comes right back. I have tried varying doses of the diflucan. I took it 5 days in a row the last time. I have tried the creams (otc and prescriptions). I just added a probiotic aimed at vaginal health. I CANNOT GET RID OF THIS STINKING YEAST INFECTION! Everything I have read said it can happen to those immune suppressed (I have been going on 5 years).

Anyway looking for tips or anyone that can relate!

Have you seen your GYN and asked what you should do? I feel like I get them very easily but I am able to stop the symptoms if I avoid sugars and carbs for a few days. Have you tried doing this?

I have been to the GYN several times. I have done all the things he has suggested! You are right...I'm going to cut out sugars and carbs for a few days to see if I notice a difference. Thanks for the suggestion!

You might also want to start eating yogurt if you aren't already doing so (and if you can tolerate it).

I've had this ever since I started on Imuran years ago. It was constant on Imuran, has been recurring and frequent since I've been off Imuran. As I decrease my yeast-containing foods, they will get better. If I get any health blip - a cold, allergies, etc. - they come roaring back.

I use difulcan and topical ointment when it's bad.

When I first started remicade I would get one every couple of weeks. It was horrible. I would use monistat(sp?) and it would go away for about a week and come back. The longer I've been on remicade the less I get them.  I do get them every month or two though. I notice I seem to get them more after sex or after my period.  I hope you find something that works. They hurt and are annoying.
