Hello,

Does anyone know if 9 colozal translates to the same amount as 2 Lialda? Does this make sense?

I feel weird going from 9 pills to 2.

I think it is because I looked up Colazal and it said 1 750mg Colazal contains 267mg of mesalamine so 9 of those would be 2403mg which is almost the same as 2 Lialda (2400mg). Does that make sense?

I am not sure if 2 Lialda would be as effective. Some people seem to respond better to Colazal and others to Lialda.
