I am sorry you're feeling so terrible. I see you're having a little trouble with the quote function on the board, it seems like there is a bug with some IE browsers. I can't quote either...
I saw someone asked if you're able to retain the enemas all night and I am wondering the same.
When I was anemic, I had a very fast heartbeat, got tired very easily, was cold and had low blood pressure. Those were all signs for me but other people may have different symptoms. I was able to correct my anemia with iron pills but I don't think iron pills would be recommended for you considering you're flaring so badly. I was able to control that flare up with Asacol and I took iron pills while I was controlled. If things are unstable, iron pills could make them worse but definitely get an CBC and have your ferritin checked asap.
Diet has never helped me and enemas don't help so much if you're not able to retain them. Sometimes I find the cortifoam/suppositories to be easier to retain, this may be something worth considering. Are you dealing with frequency? At my worst, I was probably on the toilet 15x a day or more. Are you losing weight?
How many Asacol HD are you taking? Do you know where the inflammation is active?
