What a difference a year can make!

I spent Easter weekend last year in the hospital hooked up to IVs, not eating, not sleeping. Sitting on the toilet streaming blood and puking into a basin at the same time...Yesterday, I had a huge turkey dinner with all the trimmings including pie!!

Okay, I have to shove medicine up my butt every night and take pills every morning but all in all a great improvement!!

For all of you who feel like it will never get better, don't give up hope. It took a little over a year and I'm still not 100% but it can get a heck of a lot better:)

I second the thought!!! A year ago, I was flaring badly, strung out on Prednisone and just generally miserable. Today , I feel great, just got back from a run and eating chocolate bunnies! : )

For those early or a few months into a flare and feeling discouraged, hang in there! It took a year but I regained remission!
