finished my first remicade today

Nurse numbed my wrist and then put the iv in.  Started remicade around 9am.  The nurse kept on asking me how I felt and to tell her how I was doing and not to worry if she was in the middle of anything but to make sure to tell her.  I got some warmed blankets.  My blood pressure was being checked every 20 minutes or so and it got low and the nurse had me drink my water then it went back up again.   I got up to pee twice, brought the remi with me.  The room I was in had 4 recliners for infusions and I watched a movie, there was one other remi patient there and another person on something else.  I was given tylenol and benedryl and fell asleep for a little while.  Just home chilling out now.

Keep your fingers crossed for me please, hope this works out.

I don't get my wrist numbed. They put warm towels on both my arms to find a vein, I get the warm blankets and I get up and use the bathroom when ever. I just unhook the plug from the wall. I also have a seperate room from everyone else.  It is only divided by a curtain but still and everyone gets their own tv(they are small though). I get my blood pressure and temp checked every 15 minutes and then every 30 minutes. 

I get tired after every infusion. Those are usually our go out to eat nights because I don't feel good after them. My legs and arms feel heavy also. Like I worked out alot.
