I have a sharps container filled with my Humira pens and I don't know where to take them.... I feel like the people I talk to don't even know. I don't get a straight answer from anyone, I get guidance to where to look, but it just feels like I'm going around in circles. So, I'm wondering if anyone who lives in Arizona knows where to take your full sharps container.

Did you ask at the pharmacy?

I would imagine a hospital would know what to do with them.

Maybe you should try calling a local hospital, clinic or pharmacy.

On the Humira web site I signed up for the MyHumira. They sent me the sharps container and when done I call and they send me a pre paid box to mail it back in. I actually have a filled one I never sent back. I need to call myself for a box. The number is on Humira web page.  I just looked it up the phone number is:

I'll look at the Humira website Sally, I have called Walgreens but really got nowhere with them. When I was in California I was with Kaiser and they had the local sites to take the sharps container to and the addresses. They were extremely helpful in that area. Unfortunately I'm not in Cali anymore, so this seems hard for me to figure out. Sure hope Humira website helps me.

After I posted that I called for myself and they are sending me one. I hope they can help you out. I actually have another container filled with needles from taking Lovenox while pregnant. That is one I don't know what to do with.

I signed up and have one coming my way in a few weeks. That should be fine, I hope.....
