body aches for past week

I've had body aches for the past week. I'd like to think it is a cold, but it seems like it has been around for a long time. Is this a part of a flare? Or could this be related to being up to a full dose (100mg) of azathioprine? Anyone have similar experiences?

I generally don't get body aches from my Uc. Do you feel that it's in your joints, muscles or just all over?

I get aches all over when flaring. Is the Aza working?

Not sure if it is working. I was doing well, until I stopped the hydrocortisone enema I was doing every other day.

Go back to the enemas and see if it helps. I have just terrible flu-like aches, pains and transient fever when flaring.

I am already doing canasa and rowasa every other day because I swapped back in the canasa for the hydrocortisone because my doctor didn't want me on it for too long. I'm just concerned that being on hydrocortisone for long periods of time isn't good. In other words, I am still doing an enema.

What is the timeline for your meds? How long on Hydrocortisone enemas and how long on the AZA?

I know when I started on 6mp, I felt horrible for the first 7 weeks or so. But I also felt bad when coming of the steroid E's after being on them for nearly a year.

I started aza. in february. I've was on steroid hydro. since february and stopped 3 weeks ago.
