Flank pain on prednisone

Have anyone had the same issues? While on prednisone, 30mlg per day, for almost 3 weeks, before tampering, I started to feel flank pain. First it was just the right side, then both sides, now - it depends on the day. It's still there, somedays it is almost over, another day - I can feel it more, but I can manage it without any pain killers. It's just you know, feeling unconfortable, like with strained muscles.
I just wonder if it can be something connected with the prednisone? Or what else? I don't have any other sympthomps of possible kidney problems. I'm also finishing the 10-days round of amoxicilin for upper respiratory infection.

I am off the pred 2 days and I have also experienced this on my right side, my guess is its a temporary side effect. The pain is almost gone for me now but it was noticeable the first day off the pred but I had gone from 40/40/20/10/5/ and now im off, I had developed a stomach infection and the doc wanted me off pred asap but at a safe rate.

I hope that it is also "only" side effect for me as well. If everything is ok, in a couple of days I'm down to 5mg per day, after normal tapering. So next week, I'll see. Usually, pain is a little more obvious for 2-3 days after lowering the dose, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that it'll be gone after I'm done with Prednisone.
