Am I alone here? When I go to the bathroom my gas is sooo loud I am embarresed! And all I get when I go to the bathroom is blood and gas. Wahhhaa

When I am flaring my BMs embarrass me too!  You are not alone!  Sometimes even now in remission the morning after an enema I have a little bit louder BM...nothing like when I'm flaring though. 

Are you on meds to get out of this flare?

I am lucky that my partner and I have 2.5 bathrooms in the house. In the morning when I go I always choose the furthest one from the room he is sitting in lol.

haha! i wish i had a bathroom option! i have a one bedroom one bathroom with my fiance. i can only imagine what he is thinking!! well see if he still wants to marry me after this...lol!!

i am on meds...they dont seem to be working though...60 mg of pred and 12 asacol a day.

When I'm in a flare it's definitely loud! I dread using public bathrooms at those times. blush

Lol. I think this applies to everyone when they are flaring.
I turn on the air ventilator on hoping that it would cancel out the noise that I'm making haha.

ahah well my farts are like thunder and its not like the toilet echo is gonna help to make it less noisy! I found out that flushing at the same time helps... but eh i dunno if the others are still hearing it.
When i was in paris with my boyfriend the bathroom was so close and i was flaring and tried to cover as many as possible but i had so much!! I sent him out for a cigarette then let them all out I had no choice... i felt so bad but then the next day he went to the loos and had a very noisy BM (and hes healthy) so I felt less bad...
