I think it's due to a food reaction. I'm sure when we're not in full remission, what we eat determines how frequently we go and the formation of the stools.
When I'm in full remission, I know that I'm able to so anything(popcorn, any fruits,etc in any amount) without disrupting the formation/size of my stools and have 1BM a day at max.
Floater could also mean fat malabsorption issue.
