Iritis by lowering asacol?

I am 27yrs old and have UC since 1999 (12 yrs with UC now). Just last week, I was diagnosed with Iritis. Its getting better with the prescribed prednisone eye drops.
2 months back I started cutting down my Asacol from 6 a day to 3 a day. And want to know if reducing Asacol is related to iritis?
Anyone had this before? Any idea? I am clueless.

I would doubt it, but are you flaring at this time?

Why would you cut back to 3 daily?

Hi, I've never had Iritis, but my uneducated guess is that Asacol is not the culprit.

I doubt it as well. It could just be an unlucky coincidence. I have never had Iritis (that I am aware of!) but I have had A LOT of eye infections. No fun that is for sure. I hope you feel better soon.
