I've been putting this diet off, hoping other natural remedies would bring me to where I wanted to be. But with a present state of health that has yet to meet my goals I am now committing myself to this diet...
Does anyone have pointers for starting out? Anything any of you have learned while trying it yourself?
I have an intuitive feeling that if I fully commit to this, that I can bring back my health in a way I haven't seen in years. It involves such a change in lifestyle that I really tried to get by without it, but I'm ready for it now... and actually pretty excited
Present IBD Symptoms:
-2-4 BM's per day, not fully formed. (Averaging 3/day). Some stools leave the water cloudy when flushing.
-Very seldom is there blood, and only a small streak in the stool if there is any.
-Urgency is not severe, but has increased recently... which I attribute to 2 fast food trips and eating a piece of cake last week. (Have been mostly sugar free for months now, except for the sugar in peanut butter, yogurt and such.)
-Not much pain, but there are definitely times when I feel my colon hurting.
