Hello everyone
I haven't been here for a little while. Doing better each day, I find that I get mild indigestion frequently, I find bioK probiotics help with it though, let's me burp. I did try the Renew Life Critical Care probiotics but I found that it made me go to the bathroom #2 much more frequently and a darker colour, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to do that and just wait it out while it does it stuff?
My surgery was done laparascopically so healing time has been good, feel a bit tired by mid-afternoon and have to rest. My gallbladder was very inflamed that it had become stuck to an organ (I think it was the right kidney) I'm going to check out the results soon though.
I've been through a host of problems since January of this year. Where do I begin? Had a colonoscopy May 18th, things were good except for lower left side, recommended asacol be upped to 12 pills/day. Q - thank you so much for the instructions on drinking the golytely! Learn something new everyday!
H-pylori - January 14th, 2011 - antibiotics.
Gallbladder problems started - Jan 18th until surgery June 6th.
Pelvic pain - mid-February until March, diagnosed nabolithian cysts, follicular cysts, macrobid antibiotics start March 25th.
C-diff symptoms started April 9th, diagnosed c-diff April 23rd, antibiotics again metronidazole.
Tried salofalk March 18th for 2 weeks, developed itchy rash lower left side on back, switched back to asacol.
I've lost a lot of weight, trying to gain back but it's slow. I weigh 110 lbs, used to weigh about 125 to 130. Off work until July 6th but on disability for now. Clothes are baggy, I'm trying very hard not to look so skinny!
Having a sneeze after surgery was a challenge!
Also I think I'm going through the change! Feeling some hot sweat flashes, mild (I think) and I hate sweating! When it starts, the middle of nose starts to sweat! No noticeable mood swings (I'll have to ask my hubby though), period is 49 days since last one, should have had it May 31 or June 2. This has been doing on like that since 2008 off and on menstrual cycle. Also I think it's mittelschmerz going on too. I feel that lower pelvic area pain is achy and spastic if I don't rest once in a while, especially during the time I was supposed to start my period. Oh the joys of this all! But it's one day at a time. I take extra strength tylenol once in awhile.
OK< I'm finished my rant for today! Hope everyone's day goes well!
