I'm back from my vacation. Made it just fine!

Hi all:

I just got back from my trip to England/Scotland/Ireland.  Everything went just fine and dandy.

I actually had to take a z-pack about 2 weeks before for sinus infection and then 2 DAYS before I left I got a UTI and had to take Microbid as well.  I was a bit worried about this and took double probiotics the whole time and no problems at all.

I carried on a whole box of Rowasa on the plane, no problems there.

I just tried to keep my meds on schedule and eating as normal as possible.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out in the couple weeks before stressing about taking enemas on a plane and taking antibiotics.

I feel like I've accomplished something!!

Great news, and very encouraging. It's not easy to leave your home at times with this disease of ours.

You did your preparations and were ready to deal with matters.

The prize was great times in one of the best parts of the world. I personally love Ireland, although I've got nothing against of the rest of the UK.

I just did a short trip abroad myself and felt like a normal person.

I'm happy for your accomplishment. Hopefully it will give you more energy and determination to deal with life's issues.

I know not everything will always go as smooth as this but it has given me hope!!

I was nervous as I didn't know how the time change plus long flights would affect things but I just tried to stay calm and as on schedule as possible.
