Susiebuddy,
Buy from Canada. Here is a link to perhaps my most winded rant on the subject.

I was on COBRA for 18 months, then private insurance. Had prescription coverage, but it sucked, for the first 11 months, then they dropped it altogether. Even before they dropped it, I knew I would have to do something "drastic". So I researched the issue, and now my wife and I get most of our maintenance meds from Canada.
Like you, I take 6 Asacol tabs a day. I started out with Canadian brand Asacol, which is actually produced by Tillotts Pharma AG. American Asacol is produced by Warner Chilcott. The Canadian stuff looks slightly different, but for me it worked just the same.
I recently switched to generic Asacol, which is available in Canada but not the U.S., and it too is working just fine for me. No ill effects at all after the switch.
Brand from Canada cost me $332 for 600 pills, or 55¢ a pill. Generic from Canada costs me $149 for 500 pills, or 30¢ a pill.
Oh, and I buy from Big Mountain. They are the cheapest that I've found for Asacol.
