Has anyone used Entocort to treat a flare or to wean off Pred?

I just got some to wean off Pred and treat the part the Apriso isn't doing well in. I'm getting conflicting info on dosing from two different docs.
One told me to take 2 pills in the Am and another told me I should take the 2nd pill at least 8-12 hours apart form the first.

Peace, you may want to ask this on the Crohn's board. I see a lot more users there taking entocort. It seems like we get prednisone more often on the UC board. I have never tried entocort.

I've taken three at the time before at a single dose. It gave me rapid heartbeat and he told me to only start at two this time. I never thought about splitting up the dose 2/3 and 1/3.

If you can take three at a time I wouldn't see a problem taking two. Both of my GIs told me to take it as a single dose, FWIW.

I'm splitting the dose for now between 12 hours. Rather save my liver and it will also reduce any potential side effects. Seems to be working fine this way.
