Just returned from colonoscopy

I had my colonoscopy earlier today, wasn't too bad (better than the awful prep atleast!). Did annoy me that there were 3 young females there observing it but oh well. They told me I had evidence of pan colitis with multiple pseudopolyps and mild inflammation but the terminal ileum was fine. Does this sound good/bad? Any opinions would be received with gratitude (this is only my 2nd colonoscopy!)

pseudopolyps can be bad news, as it's hard to differentiate between them & a "real" polyp. For biosies, cancer detection, etc. Mild inflammation sounds good though, no? I think the ileum is the farthest from the rectum, so I'd guess that's a good thing that it looks ok. Did you talk with the GI after the scope? And ????

I'd say it sounds sort of ok. Not good, though, for sure.

Are you having symptoms right now? And what meds are you on?
