Someone a while back asked about problems with coffee enemas. Here's a link about a case of that for anyone interested. http://www.nature.com/ajg/journal/v105/n1/full/ajg2009505a.html.

Also, anectodally, a older woman, a friend of a friend of mine died from a severely ulcerated colon. She had done coffee enemas for years.

Coffee is the worst thing I can drink for my colitis, I can't imagine anyone thinking it would improve things.

Actually seems a waste of coffee....I'll take mine orally, thank you.

Some people willl shove anything up there..sheesh.

i know the gerson diet is big on coffee enemas. personally, i don't drink coffee and don't want it in my colon at all.

BTW, I asked, and you can't get a coffee enema at Starbucks.

Just the thought of Starbuck's coffee makes me want to puke....no matter which end it would be administered.

uh, yeah I don't think so...it is amazing what many of us do out of desperation due to IBD, it's flippin' sad really :(

Hey, great idea!!! but the experience wouldn't be a good one for me...I think i'll stick to the gallon prep..lol.

One interesting thing about Starbucks...at least one, anyway. My husband, on his way to work around 6 PM went to get a decaf mocha latte or something like that...they don't sell it, only in the mornings. Say what???? How arse-backwards is that?

There would also be improved efficiency. A 24 oz. drink at Starbucks could accomplish what a gallon of prep accomplishes.

No decaf at night? Truly bizarre. Cops working at night live on caffeine.
