My colonoscopy is booked. I have a really good feeling about it. I honestly beleive that they will see no signs of this illness in me. Im positive. I havent cheated on the diet at all. Im not going to lie I have seen a bit of mucus for the last couple of days. but it has not been alot. I havent seen bleeding for the last 8 months. I am still on no meds.

Im looking forward to it this time. the date is the 02-12-2011

My diet is still very strict though. I still weigh around 49 kg i would like to be about 52 kg. its not bad as i am only 5 foot 1. That is about 107lb so its not bad.

glad to hear you are still doing well and are looking forward to getting a great c-scope. I feel the same way, mine is booked for January and it should be looking good. My diet has expanded a bit since getting more healed and I hope you will also be able to add some food you've missed.

You've got me beat with no meds however as I never quit taking Balsalazide pills and use mesalamine enemas and VSL#3 probiotics. I know the last 2 are helpful but can't say if the pills actually do anything. Thats great that you are able to be med-free.

Thanks quincy. it is exciting i will post the results. All i want them to say is that we cant see any thing. That is all i want.

I also want to include more foods into my diet. But I dont want the UC to come back on me either. I have been so good on this diet. and it is soo strict. Im still eating
4 eggs for breakfast
green smoothing
meat and veg for lunch
meat and salad for dinner. I do like to fry some peppers and onions in a bit of olive oil. I know frying is not good for you but i need something.

I do make some nut muffins occasionally no honey though with them. and i do eat nuts and 1 piece of fruit a day

This Janurary i would have been doing this diet for 2 years. I started Jaunurary 2010. its gone so quickly.

imagardener2 dont feel i have you beat. your doing great. my diet i beleive is even more limited. and i havent used diet alone either. i used an expensive proram. I dont really talk about that bit as i spent alot of money on it. I felt i needed the gamble though and he did get rid of the bleeding.

I am suppose to reach a probiotic stage, but the aim is to kill off the candida and other bacteria in my body first. He hasent had that easy of a job doing it. Its funny. I havent been as bad as others on this web page but it has taken me sooo long. I dont know why that is but I guess that is the way it goes. :)
