Is anyone having trouble with Lialda being on back order? I went to the pharmacy 3 weeks ago to refill my lialda. It is still not in due to back order. Is anyone else experiencing this

Well I just switched to Lialda and I am still on samples from the doctor so I haven't tried to fill it yet. However just a couple weeks ago our local news did a story about several name brand medications being in short supply and not being produced quickly enough. They didn't list Lialda but said it included several medications for various conditions.

I still have 3 weeks of samples left so I wasn't worried about filling it yet, but maybe I need to go have it filled just in case it takes awhile!

Really?  What is going on w/ all of these meds.  I still have about a month and a halfs worth left on Lialda but  it makes me think after what happened w/ Colazol.  Hopefully it will all be worked out soon.  All I can say is if mesalamine enemas are ever discontinued, I am in big trouble.  Let us know how you make out w/ this situation.

I take Lialda and haven't had a problem but I'm on mail order. I have about 2 months left so hopefully this won't be an issue when I need to refill.

I just refilled my prescription for Lialda last week with no problems.

Thanks everyone, I am begining to think it is my pharmacy. I am going to have to maybe switch. Keep me posted though, if anyone has any problems
