Pentansa for proctitis uc

I have not tried colifoam but I have used cortifoam and I've found it to be very helpful. As for Pentasa suppositories, some find them useful and others don't tolerate them well. Have you ever been on oral mesalamine, like Pentasa tablets? It is possible that you're intolerant but you're just having a mild reaction to the suppositories since they are rectal. I do great with the mesalamine rectal suppositories, here in the US they are made by a brand called Canasa. Inflammation in the rectum causes that lovely feeling of not being empty, the best way to treat it is to keep using the rectal medication. I think I would continue on colifoam or try steroid suppositories and taper off them slowly to allow your body to heal.

I haven't seen much positive feedback on Aloe Vera, I think it's probably a waste of money.
