bruises, blood clots(for women only) while on 6mp??

hey! I was wondering if bruises are normal while taking 6mp(50mg) taking for past 5 wks. I am also getting some tiny blood clots during my monthly visitor. I am also on a pred taper right now at10mg. not sure I shd call my GI again they r very slow to respond.

The bruising is normal with 6mp. When I started it, I started getting a lot of bruises that I didn't know how I got. So I showed the trail of bruises on my leg to my GI. He ran a blood test but everything was fine so he told me to keep an eye on it and if I start bruising worse to let him know.

I'm not sure about the clots but you should still tell your GI when you see him/her next.

clots with period blood? that's hormonal changes and depending on how much vaginal mucous and how long the blood has been sitting.

I would think bruising would be normal with the 6MP, are you taking fish oil or other type oil as well?

I never had this clots b4. I am kinda worried .
I might get my prothrombin time checked

when did you start using fenugreek? one possible side effect is bruising and your answer may lie between the fenugreek and the 6mp. Also if you have used aspirin at all that is well known to cause bruising for some people (me for example).

I have no idea about the blood clots. If you were menopausal I'd suspect that or birth control pills.

no it can't be menopause this young. maybe prednisone??? also I didn't hear about fenugreek doing this I eat it with white rice I make a curry out of the leaves.
