iluvsunflowers15,
Heather, I'm sorry you're feeling so crappy (no pun intended).
UC is a tough disease to deal with, no question about that.
And one you have to be proactive about and in charge of, I know that sounds very hard to do, so you have to break it up in a few pieces and work on each one at a time.
- if the drugs aren't totally helping, you need IMO to find adjunct things that will help you, i.e. L-Glutamine powder for the D, slippery elm powder to coat the whole tract, probiotics - espcecially that you are now on antibiotics (you'll need to at the very least double your intake of probiotics)
- diet - start a food journal and write everything down and the resultant effects. if you can try dairy, wheat, gluten free and you'll find IMO quite an improvement.
- have you considered giving LDN - low dose naltrexone - a try?
many on this forum have been greatly helped by it:
Do some research on LDN - low dose naltrexone, you can search this forum as they are several threads on this. I can tell you it works!
Here's the Penn State research done by Dr. Jill Smith with LDN and Crohns Patients.

You can do LDN while on biologics, and when it starts to help, many are able to wean off them entirely.
I hope you start to feel better soon. Sending you a big hug.
