Frothy anyone? This is new.

I'm curious, does anyone have issues with frothy foul smelling fluffy diarrhea? Frothy as in bubbles around the floating stools. And my stomach pain is different from my flare pain. It's more intense and disappears right after the bm. It comes out in squirts also.

I just had a flex sig on December 15 and it came back OK. No inflammation. But I've noticed that I've had bouts of constipation for a few days then loose stools then back to normal for awhile. Right when the cold air moved in. This is my time to have irregularity. my last bout was caused by eating out and candy. (I couldn't resist.)


Could it be steatorrhea? Or something with my pancreas? What about IBS? I've noticed food bothers me more during these colder months.

don't have a clue what you've got going on - but it does sound kinda cool, at least from a visual point of view -

and there's also that pain/relief thing that has a certain attraction - constipation hasn't frequented me much in my life, but that intense pain followed by the instant ahhhhhhhhh feeling - there's probably some freudian explanation for that - or i'm just plain weird -

maybe just stay away from the eating out and candy -

hope it gets better soon -

I definitely think it's from not eating enough, candy, eating out and not eating my bulk foods. And I definitely think it's because of IBS.
I don't eat out often, or eat candy, but I over did it. I was just curious to see what others thought. Thanks Soy. :)

I've read if you eat high fat content foods, the bowels tend to be more gassy, and 'mushy' like, with foul smells, through my own experience as well. Hmm, if it becomes painful I would get that checked out maybe..

When was the last time you had bloodwork? The reason I ask is when my sugar is off, I notice "that" among other
things.

I've never really had frothy but I have had what I would describe as fluffy. Do you drink a lot of fluids?

Carlie, I had work done awhile back. I thought it may be my IBS. I wasn't eating my best at the time.

nssg, yes I do. It's weird and that's why I mentioned it here. I didn't know if it was mucus or not, or perhaps irritability from me eating wrong. It's little bubbles around the floating stool. Not frothy like a drink, but you know what I mean?
