Marshmallow Root tea?

Hi
I bought marshmallow root in capsule form (480mg). I'm thinking of putting it (emptying the capsules) into a cup of hot herb tea.
Has anyone tried it this way?

If you have other suggestions, please share.

You don't want to take it as a pill? We bought it loose and made a tea out of it. I believe you can also use that tea as an enema, i think we've tried that too.

No, I don't want to take it as a pill. I bought the caps so I could try it before buying a larger container of the powder.
It supposedly has the ability to lessen cold symptoms (as well as digestive uses and to treat GERD).
Since I have a cold, I want to see if it soothes my throat and lessens the cold symptoms.
