slippery elm

ok so i have been using powdered slippery elm for about a year. I mix it with hotmilk and usually try and down it in one. are there any other nicer recipes as it has got harder and harder to "stomach".:)

It's about immune booster shakes, but some people put their slippery elm into the shakes. Maybe it's an option for you.

Two ounces of your favorite juice, add about two ounces of warm water (from the tea kettle), add about one heaping teaspoon of powdered slippery elm.   Stir it briskly 'til it's well mixed and slug it down rightaway.*

* Before it stiffens up and takes on the viscosity of engine oil.  

Why would you not just take it in capsule form?
Or mix it with VSL and applesauce like I have before.
Jus' saying....

i found that the capsules were not as effective as drinking the mixture. I believe the kind of slippy texture of the mixed drink is the key to the relief it provides the ulcerated areas of my intestines.
