I was considering writing to admins about it but thought of making a thread so that if others have any suggestions, they could be included in. If any of my suggestions are lame or already taken care of, someone could point that out.

- There is no option to print thread, i.e. print view.
- Option to add a thread in favorites. Yes, there is an option to subscribe the thread which I currently use as an alternative.
- Editing signature. This has been a biggest headache. I have 393 characters in my signature including mCode. I just can't edit my signature. It truncates anything that I type in.
- Sending personal message. User should have an ability to turn off this feature if they wish to. Although you can make your email public, may be everyone is not comfortable and I want to keep all my conversation on this server.
- mCode, this is another thing I hate. I never managed to get hang of it. Is there any better option?

Also, I think the board could do away with the attach sig option when posting a reply and just apply it automatically if you enter it in your profile. It's silly that it doesn't do this anyway.

Not sure what you mean by: There is no option to print thread, i.e. print view.

I see a "Print Thread" option above this Reply box I'm typing in.

I like the suggestions and will pass them on to the site admin but I am not sure if he will make any changes.

- Option to add a thread in favorites-> Your Browser can do that for you

- Editing signature -> Do that in MS Word and use it's "character count" function. Changes to signatures can take a while before they show up in posts. (couple of hours)

This forum software is very limited in what it can/can't do... vBulletin on the other hand is a real nice and powerful program.

I would prefer eliminating signatures and just allow us to have an entry (or possible multiple entries) that is visible when you select a user's name. I would like to be able to describe my experience with this disease, describe what has worked and what hasn't, and describe my current status. This would surely take up less space than repeatedly posting a signature.

Thats old school. I use 4 devices on any given day, 2 laptops, iPad and iPod Touch (Android phone is coming) so how do you expect the user to sync it? May be I don't represent majority of the user base but there ARE options for improvement if the admin is really interested.

Been there, done that. BTW, notepad is better than word.

You have to realize too, the more advance HW gets the higher the cost. So things are kept fairly basic at the moment. I don't mind it actually...I like simple! lol But I will be sure to forward your recommendations to the admin. Perhaps in the future he will make room for improvements.

the signatures have a purpose...simpler is better.
