Pain in rectum and left side of pelvis after hemorrhoidectomy and sphincterotomy

i hope someone can help me here,i am new here also.
My story began last july,when i had a hemorrhoidectomy and sphincterotomy done,after three weeks i developed a severe rectal and burning pain in the rectum,and irritiated to the vagina and perinela thightness. My colo rectal said it was nothing and i was just having muscle spasm in my pelvis. and sent me home with that diagnosis,time passed and the pain was excrutiating,this time i went to see another colo rectal,same diagnosis,actually put a name to my condition:Levator ani syndrome".
Well after 3 months and pain remained the same i went to ANOTHER colo rectal specialist and guess what ? SAME DIAGNOSIS!!! how in the world such pain could be related to muscles in spasm?
well i found a website after googling my symptoms and went to a dr that was recomended there,he diagnosed me with pudendal nerve damage!!! i was scared to death and now i am taking neurophatic pain medicine .
Ok here is my question: that dr sent me to have a ct scan done (i already one one before the surgery and everything looked normal)
but this time ct scan showed thickening of the sigmoid colon,and also mild colitis..my dr wants me urgently to see ANOTHER colo rectal dr ! but still beleives i have a nerve damage.Is it possible that all my symptoms ,rectal pain with burning sensation specially on the left side,
pain after sitting ,after sex,vaginal tightness (nno diahrrea or pain in abdomen) be related to the colitis or the thickening of my sigmoid colon? that wasn't there 8 months ago! can someone please give me some advice? i will aprecciate so much your input.
i will see the colo rectal untill march 19th,please help me.

I can empathize with you. I had a hemorrhoidectomy in early April 2012 and have had left side rectal pain and soreness daily, more or less ever since. My colorectal surgeon and another both said I had muscle spasms, just deal with it. THEIR ADVICE IS WRONG! I searched for answers and after scouring the Web I found this place: http://www.pelvicpainhelp.com/

I attended the clinic this month (it's not cheap, but I believe it will be worth every cent) and left very encouraged by their protocol and chances for my pain to significantly abate and perhaps go away altogether over time. Anyway, read the stuff on their site (they cover LA Syndrome) and also check out Dr. Wise's book on Amazon, "A Headache in the Pelvis". It's well worth reading. The Wise-Anderson protocol is non-invasive, very holistic and encompasses both physical and psychological therapy.

I believe this is your best bet to get help for your pain. And I know how life altering it is.
