Thanks everyone.
My diet is fairly good quality. I do loads of greens and leafy vegetables. I eat almost no processed food except chocolates and ice creams. For cabbage and carrots, I graze on them, more lately as a result of Pred.
@ stereo,
Juicing is a good idea but I am not in favor of it for 2 reasons, practically I do not have a space for juicer in my apartment (I know, lame excuse but its fact) and secondly, you lose good fiber. I eat them instead all day long.

deltaforce - Any side effects from Imuran for you?
None, its been really good to me but I do want to note one thing though, since I started Imuran I started avoiding everything that could potentially tax my liver, like alcohol for example. That sucks you dont have room in your apartment for a juicer. When it comes to fiber content, most of us that are still dealing with active colitis don't really need a whole lot of it because fiber is harder to digest and irritates the colon when inflamed. Besides, a healthy diet consists of a vegetable with every meal anyway. The health benefits are exponential with juicing, I feel like Juicing & the SCD diet put me in remission.
