seasons21,
That makes sense - she started you on a low dosage because her patients (autistic kids) usually start at much lower dosages and work up from there. BTW, there's a very interesting correlation between autistic kids from the whole autism spectrum who suffer from IBD too.
And interestingly, when you clear up one problem, you clear or ameliorate the autism.
I believe it will definitely work for you, but IMO you'll need the 4.5mg dosage. And since you are already on a version of SCD - dairy, wheat, gluten free, I think once you hit the 4.5mg dosage, you'll get pretty quick results.
As I may have told you before, and forgive me for repeating this again, on day 3 of taking transdermal LDN, my bleeding went from a 10 to a 3 or 4 (on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the worst), and then 4 days later on day 7, I had ZERO bleeding. Yes, my results were that dramatic!
So yes, I am optimistic you'll get the same results.
By the time I had gotten to LDN, I had already tried all meds - oral mesalamines which I couldn't tolerate, prednisone which didn't work, and canasa suppositories. And so the only thing I kept doing while on LDN was canasa suppositories. No prednisone.
I've been on transdermal LDN since last March, almost 1 year now. And although in remission, I do not intend to stop it. I don't see any down side to using it, only a big up side with cancer prevention, etc... about 7 months ago I was still using the canasa as maintenance ( 2 x per week), but I've stopped that entirely.
Please keep me apprised and let me know how you're doing.
Feel free to email me at: [email protected]
Good luck, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
