InSoFla, first of all thank you for sharing the supplement! I would like to say that I've been doing well, but due to my stubbornness, the only diet I follow at the moment is gluten free, which means the UC could be better. I have this view on my colitis where I don't see it as a threat, because as I've tampered with diet (elimination of grains, starches, yeast and sugars) I've experienced those perfectly formed bowel movements. Even in the last 2 weeks, I decided to foolishly cut out all of those above for 2 days, and within 24 hours saw perfectly formed bowel movements. So, when I do go about
my regular gluten-free diet, I feel as though I'm not doing any bad, but not doing any good either, in the bathroom.
The L-Threonine has helped form the bowels and keep them formed, but as the second week closes in, I'm seeing less formed at times. However, throughout the year I've only had 1-2 bowels a day regardless of any dietary changes. On July 2nd, I see my doctor about
the two tests I had done (adrenal glands + gut function/immune system test) -for gluten antibodies as well. I'm hoping to find some conclusive evidence, but I shouldn't be shocked to find thats its just crohns/colitis doing the damage 100%.
Do you think it would be any harm to increase the dosage of L-Threonine?
I have also ordered a sample of gluten-relief and am waiting for delivery. Thanks
