Raw milk of goats or cow have been well documented to help IBDers. Problem is, there is risk ingesting non-pasteurized milk. Then again, there is risk with everything. However, raw milk allows an IBDer to get an "infusion" of bacteria that the gut may desperately need. To me, this is another approach to probiotics. Camel???? Haven't heard that one. However, I did read or hear somewhere (it may be in the Bible) that if you are sick with digestive problems....to follow your camel (assuming you own one) and ingest its feces.
To me, these examples fall under the many probiotic options that exist today. IMO: Rebalancing the gut flora is key in treatment of UC.
