I'm getting them in my feet a lot and I've had some very weird chest and back muscle tightness and pain.  I wasn't worried at first but started googling (mistake).  I also have had constant muscle twitching for like more than 3 years.   Had some EMGs and Mris a while ago but nothing showed.  I've had the twitching for a long time but the painful spasms are newer.   I started seeing a few rare neuro autoimmune disorders that were pretty scary.  Ugg now I'm worried about that....  Not a good night...off to bed :(

Aww Seasons i wish i could reach out and give you a hug.

I experienced soo many side effects on the pred: open up wiki and see every side effect listed under the pred? i've experienced it!! LOL it's not funny actually. And as i recall i experienced muscle tightness all over my body including the chest, back, arms and legs. I was in pain and especially while tapering the pain got so bad i was unable to sleep. I had to take 2 panadols every 4 hours to keep it in check.

Thanks. Funny a little kindness really goes a long way. Sorry you had trouble with the taper, but maybe it's just that. I'm just so nervous (probably Prednisone too) and don't feel myself. I appreciate your response :)

How do you like fow fodmops? Curious what you eat. I used to take Sacro B but stopped because it's a yeast and my primary had me on a yeast killer. I took sacro b and lactobacillus sporogonees forevery while in remission. Now I take orthomolecular 225.

I had muscle cramps from pred too... Makes me never want to go back on em ever again. I also get regular muscle pains that Ive had for the last 4 years. Seeing doctor about it but nothing will probably show up... Might try curcumin to see how it helps everything. Trying coenzyme q10 but I think that might be upseting my guts :S so hard to tell, its frustrating...

I had severe hand and foot cramps- they go away during the taper.

oh yeah!!! this sounds just like me. i have neuropathy and muscle spasms frequently in my feet, mostly my left foot. it makes it hard to sleep sometimes and i haven't found that being off of prednisone has made them go away. i've been off of it since november and still experience the symptoms. i also got costochondritis from prednisone and it felt like a knife was going through my chest and coming out the back. the pain gets worse when i exercise.
