Over Easter I was very naughty and had some pizza as I had been craving some for ages, and some chocolate, but a couple of days later blood on my toilet paper and had to push alittle harder to get the poop out. We were also leaving for holidays in the caravan to Port Rickaby nice little place on the York penninsular in South Australia. Was very anxious about
the blood, so I bacame strict with the diet and drank alot of ginger and honey tea and made alot vietnemese style soup with lots of rice noodles, bok choy, corriander, onion, chicken and won ton soup base and it cleared up in 3 days. Am very relieved but it brought me back to reality on how fragile sometimes the balance is to keep UC away. As I am no longer on any medication and I would like to keep it that way, as I just passed 6 months in remission and off medication. have kept up my rejuven x and vital greens with rice milk shake twice daily along with my boswelia tablet which seems to keep the balance as long as I am diligent with the diet and do not stray to far. I had another piece of pizza at a friends place it was a gluten free pizza and it did not upset me(that being one piece) would have loved too have eaten another but did not want to risk fate so close to having had a symptom.
Thanks for letting me share we caught some squid and had fresh crumbed calamari absolutely beautiful. We had a great holiday with the kids, they had sausages on the BBQ I had Salmon, on the BBQ as cannot seem to sourse gluten free chicken sausages.
