Hi guys.
Just wanted to give you an update since starting the clay powder. So many of you know my story since my flare up. I honestly thought I was going to lose my colon. Just last week I had the worst day of my life. I lost so much blood I honestly couldn't walk down the stairs without blacking out. I was an idiot and didn't go to the hospital because I had a doctors appointment. The doctor didn't do anything for me. I discovered what made me that sick. It was eating too much at a time. I remembered that I have a stricture in my sigmoid colon. So the solution was to eat smaller meals more often. I started doing that and I've turned around so much. I don't want to jinx anything but compared to how I was it's a huge improvement. I can't tell what is it that is working but I've been on 6MP for about
a month now along with steroids. I'm at 30 MG right still weaning down. Also I'm on clay powder which I believe is helping a lot as well. Well just wanted to let you guys know that I'm feeling much better. Hopefully it keeps up.

Great to read that you feel much better! Continue to take extra good care of yourself as you taper down the Pred. / Old Hat (31 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

I'm glad you're starting to feel better!
Do your doctors still think you have UC instead of Crohn's? And have you decided to not try to get into that stem cell transplant study?

I'm glad you are feeling good too and you are posting and keeping in touch. We are a UC family here and we want to help each other as often as we can!
We should plan a UC weekend fun somewhere! Your bring the wipes, I'll bring the TP! LOL
Hugs!

Hi bosnianboy12,
I am glad to know you are better. I was thinking about
you since your last post. Everything you eat and drink will effect how you feel.
My best wishes to you!
