I've been all over the map on this issue.
I've exercised intensely throughout flares and I have learned to take a day off here and ther to give the body a break. Which is super hard for a workout obsessed girl like me.
Currently, experiencing a super mini-flare. No blood. Just urgency, loose stools, and that sickly feeling you get in the gut. Took today off exercise because I had remicade, but will be back to the gym tom. Have been debating whetehr I will be okay enough to compete in my 2nd half marathon race I've been training for, that takes place this sunday. Today was the last day to sign up online, but I was too scared to sign up yet. I can still sign up fri and sat in person at a nearby gym. Or I can go really early the day of the race, sunday, to sign up. I'm praying I'll bounce back quickly after the remicade I had today. (I'm sure a lot of people would just skip it and do the next one, but I have competed at this event for the last 4yrs. Starting with the 5k, 5k, 10k, 1/2 marathon, and this year retunring for the second 1/2 marathon. It's for a really good cause too.)
Really tough decision. I would hate to be miserable or have an accident, etc.
Please think positive thoughts for me that tom I will wake up better after having my remicade today.
:)
